My hard disk crashed - goodbye to all my files. Pictures, music, lyrics, documents, everything. Bah. This is supposed to remind me that everything on earth is temporal and I don't really need all that when I die, but still, ARGH.
And my speakers just blew. Like things can't get any worse. Haha. My table's in a horrible mess, so much so that I feel like just sweeping everything off and throwing it all away. :/
And because I won't be here for quite awhile again, (blogging has finally become monotonous), have a very happy new year, whilst I begin my six month holiday. Time to find a job.

Gmail hasn't been working, and I'm feeling terribly deprived of my emails. My computer's still not working, I've just been watching Gossip Girl on my sister's laptop, I'm thinking that I need something better to do. Still trying to decide whether I want to go Mambo tomorrow because I haven't seen Nic in ages, but on the other hand I desperately in need of sleep. Plus, the Bailey's and Vodka drunk the past two days are more than enough for this week already.
Christmas. A smiley face is all I have to say about it right now. I'm contented, I'm tired out, I'm superbly blessed.
And other than that, the year's about to come to and end, and for once in my life, I'm not starting school in January.

I think I owe you guys and update. Haha. I'm surviving on Kai's laptop (thank you thank you thank you) and it's great cos I'm so amused by Firefox.
Hong Kong was great. I can officially converse in Cantonese, which is really an improvement from a mix of broken chitonese. I can say stuff like 'lei oei sek meh ye' and 'orh gok tak tai dai loh'. Coherent sentences. We toured the Hong Kong island, and spent Wednesday in Macau (I played 4 slot machines, won HK$0.40 (which is about SGD 0.08), and lost HK$80. So brainless.), Thursday and Friday were spent shopping and reached Singapore at midnight. In between went on business meetings with the parents, sitting at the back or looking presentable, and where the meetings were private I'd walk around with Christie, went to HMV to buy the Hairspray soundtrack (zomg finally), and had Dim Sum dinners with friends. Ultimately, it was great experience, I'm impressed by their MRT systems, not impressed by the lack of escalators and cramped, congested, concentrated city centre. I'm quite glad I studied Geog - now I can use terms like 'suburban', 'push and pull factors' and 'high building density'.
So now it's Carolling to plan, followed by the Christmas Party (22nd Dec 07, 7pm) and we've been quite involved in hospitality stuff. At least I'll have something to do. But for now, it's basic theory lessons tomorrow, and kinda sucks when so many people have passed the theory test already and I haven't even started. Wonder why I didn't start earlier. ): Ah.
I want to go shopping. Feel like I didn't buy enough in Hong Kong.

My computer's spoilt, and it's really tough, to live in a house with no TV and no computer. I've resorted to packing, packing, packing. Threw out a stack of papers tall enough to make me a few inches taller when i stood on it, stacked the remaining into Eunice's, Rachel's and Kenneth's stacks, I'm still looking for a junior who takes H2 Econs to pass my notes to. Let me know if you want.
Kinda shocked at how much I did over the past 2 years, especially the past few months before the exams. Definitely more than the O Levels, I threw all my Geog stuff away though, hate The Geog Teacher too much to keep any of it longer than required. Geog was really one of the subjects I really worked hard at - the sheer volume of notes generated by my own, personalised handwriting is proof enough, and The Geog Teacher still doesn't see past one event to view all the hard work put in. Talk about narrow mindedness, I still think he's anal. Haha. Quite disappointing, really.
And I've put up the christmas tree, hurrah. Looking forward to Hong Kong, though there'll be nothing much to buy since the sales ended a long ago. Nevertheless, there's Shenzhen and Macau to anticipate.
I actually miss GP lessons. So much so that I think I'll churn out a few more essays, just for the fun of it.
Just in case I don't get the laptop again, Merry Christmas everyone.
