It was weird today. Went back to school after tuition, so at 4.30pm, when everyone was walking out of school, I was walking to school. Felt as though whilst everyone else's day was ending, mine was just beginning. Yup, at four thirty in the afternoon.
Come to think about it, it's about twenty plus days more. After that, I'd officially have graduated, turned eighteen, and sort out stuff that have been long overdue. And this, this is an experience I never want to go through again. It hasn't been all that enjoyable, we're just pushing each other on and on, and on and on. And there isn't any other direction we can move in, so we're just ploughing through, moving forward, taking one step at a time.
Sometimes though, that one step at a time pace; it's too... slow.

I need to share somebody's umbrella.
Should never have gone back. It's always the same anyway. Same feelings, same thoughts, it doesn't make me get better. I hate this, this cycle. I'm not running away, I'm doing what's best for me. And if that means avoidance, then I should, and I will do just that.
YOU BASTARD.

You can stand under my umbrella.

The funny thing about expectations.
When others place their expectations on you, it's never enough.
But when you place expectations on your ownself, you're never enough to meet them.
So a conflict arises,
when you're meeting everyone else's expectations, except your own.

And here's where I really wanted to go for my Eighteenth.
I really don't know what's going through my mind right now, except that I'm pretty much still in a state of shock. It's never happened before, and I don't see why I wasn't paying attention, or why I wasn't aware of my surroundings. But it all happened so fast, he shouted "OEI!", I went "OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD" and the next thing I registered was pain. Pain, pain, pain. Funnily enough, the first thought that came to mind was "Thank God it wasn't a car."

STUDY CLAIRE, BEFORE YOU GET A TRIPLE E FOR YOUR A LEVELS, AND WHEN YOU CALL TAMMIE SHE'LL BE TOO BUSY PARTYING TO SYMPATHISE WITH YOU. YOU WON'T WANT TO BE SOBBING AWAY IN SCHOOL, NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, UNTIL THE SUN GOES DOWN AND THE GUARD COMES AND CHASES YOU OUT OF THE SCHOOL GATE AT 9PM, LOCKING THE GATES AFTER YOU. AND THEN, YOU'LL "NO LONGER BE PROTECTED BY THE COLLEGE, BUT INSTEAD YOU'LL BE A MEMBER OF SOCIETY", UNABLE TO CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING BECAUSE OF YOUR THREE Es, UNABLE TO RETAKE BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T FAIL, AND SIMPLY HAVE NOWHERE TO GO.
Apart from that, I'll really miss school.
And here's something that was sent in an email:
In Singapore, the majority of us live in Highly Dangerous Buildings (HDB), and most people have already got used to Paying and Paying(PAP). Not only do you have to pay, you Pay Until Bankrupt(PUB).
If that's not enough, somebody still Purposely Wants to Dig(PWD) and get more from you. So what more can you do when you are in the Money Only Environment (MOE)?
With the current Mad Accounting System(MAS), you are forced to Pay the Sum Ahead(PSA), which will leave some people Permanently Owing Some Banks(POSB), and forced to live on the Loan Techniques Always(LTA) system.
When you fall sick and happen to be admitted to a Money Operating Hospital(MOH), you might be able to use your Cash Prior to Funeral(CPF) fund. If you are out of luck, you may meet doctors who Never Use Heart (NUH) to treat you, and you will be Sure to Give up Hope(SGH).
To help ease the traffic, motorists have to pay Cash On Expressway(COE). If that doesn't help, they can always Eternally Raise Prices(ERP)on the roads. If you don't own a car, you can always make a Mad Rush to the Train (MRT) , or get squashed in a bus Side By Side(SBS).
Lastly, under all these pressures, there are not many places we can relax, not even the good old place we used to go because it has become So Expensive and Nothing TO See Actually (SENTOSA).
